Well, that blew me away! I just came back from Chattanooga visiting our son’s family and he took us all on a hike on my husband’s and his dad’s request. He picked a easy hike around some mountain and saw that it was an 8mi trail so he decided to take us on the climber’s access loop which was only 1.5mi - thinking this would be more doable for the time we had and that it was already mid afternoon.
Well this was never really revealed to me til afterwards. I kept asking is this a trail? Where is the trail?
He had to practically pull me up rocks / boulders or hold my hand to keep me from falling. My husband behind to protect me from falling back. My granddaughters of 11yrs and 9yrs. Kept saying “dad we should go back!” I am thinking well surely we are close to the end of this “climb”?! Only to see another boulder of rocks to go over!!
I did make it to the end of this hike I would never had gone on.
I did say that my #1 son lost his “golden” position 😅 reminding him that his younger brother had us to their home for our other 11yr old’s baptism!! I did tell him though I have come to accept that I am not a hiker and that I can be ok with this. I have always been a “wanna be” probably for more than hiking and I think this was a hike to help me see all that God has for me beyond my “hiker” dreams!! However, you struck the magnificent glories of a God’s Creation hike in your hike!! Wow. Thanks for sharing all the insights that you gleaned from His glorious ness!!!
Have to agree with Nancy and thank you for sharing your hikes with us. While we may not climb a mountain, we have the opportunity everyday to “hike” with Jesus. 🙏🏻
You continue to amaze and inspire me❤️😇🙏
How I love that you do this!! (And enjoy it so much!)
Such an inspiration
